History of Painting chronicles my evolution as a square peg painter in a round peg art world. I also speak candidly about art schools and femme fatales. |

| The logic of my comics follows the spirit of my paintings. I would describe my work in this medium as exercises in poetic juxtaposition, a combination of kitsch and haiku where the resulting absurdity resonates like an ancient subterranean echo. The comics featured here include bohemian muses and giant dust bunnies. There is also an allegorical tale about escaping a House of Mirrors. In between, I discuss my ideas pertaining to linear and non-linear narratives in comics. |

| The
enemy of the individual artist is, and has always been, categorical
thinking. Categorical thinking is the habitual practice of viewing
things and ideas—past, present, and future—as existing only
within preset categories. Categorical thinking is the antithesis of
genius. In my essays, I explain these differences and why culture
is doomed to perpetuate mediocrity by its very nature. I use my comix
to illustrate various points that I make along the way. The last set of
essays in this section include notes and comic strips from my Blender
Kitty series, The Transcendental
Primer, where I explain how Kantian Metaphysics relates
to ultimate reality-- and art. |

Anatomically challenged nudes, three-dimensional cubist animals, and a rather straightforward self-portrait. More paintings to baffle and confuse.
